This is the next generation in bolt on performance suspension for any 1986-1995 4wd Pickup, 4Runner, and 4wd T-100. Race ready right out of the box, the TOTAL CHAOS 4x2 Gen 3 Caddy kit was designed for anyone who wants to build a dedicated play Toy using fully bolt on suspension. The upper and lower control arms are 4.5” extended and incorporate 1” Teflon lined uniballs. The arms bolt to the factory control arm mounting locations. The suspension system cycles 15” of wheel travel and adds up to 7” of lift. 4” lift spindles are included which allow up to a 35” tire to be installed without any firewall modifications for tire clearance. Removing the front differential is necessary to install this system. Rear fiberglass is necessary to run a 35” tire. The lower control arms feature dual 2.5 shock tabs. TC recommends using a primary 10” dual rate coil over and secondary bypass shock for maximum performance and tuning ability attainable with this system. Custom upper shock mounts must be fabricated with this kit. The kit was designed to retain factory upper and lower control arm mounting locations for easy installation and maintenance for a race truck or play vehicle. This bolt on system in not designed and intended to be used on a street legal vehicle with the track width increasing 10” overall. Heim joint tie rod steering is included with this kit and a modified steering arm has also been fabricated onto the spindle making the outer tie rod end double-shear for added strength. The control arms in this kit are constructed out of 4130 chromoly. The lower control arm features TC’s signature skid plate on the bottom side of the arm to avoid hang-ups. Air bumps can also be incorporated into this system. The kit will require the removal of the factory rubber compression stops to achieve maximum wheel travel. The kit is complete with urethane bushings, inner sleeves, extended brake lines, and grade 8 hardware. TC’s optional nylatron replacement bushings and King Kong Caddy steering system upgrade are available.

This performance system has been race tested throughout the entire 2006 MDR series by overall points champion Matt Helton and Brian Metcho.
